Big Brother to enter BB house?
Mysterious housemate Bob Righter, whose name is an anagram for 'Big Brother', will be awaiting housemate's on the reality show's last ever launch night on Wednesday (09.06.10)
Big Brother is expected to compete in this year's reality show, by entering the house on Wednesday (09.06.10).
In a mysterious twist, a character called Bob Righter - which is an anagram of the Channel 4 show's title - will move into the compound and give the bossy voice physical form for the first time.
Although details of Bob are being kept secret by bosses of the reality show, it has been rumoured the TV voice could enter the building as a robot or talking figurine.
The show's executive producer Phil Edgar Jones told the Daily Star: "He's going to be waiting in the lounge for the housemates when they arrive. I can't say anything more than that.
"You'll just have to tune in to the launch to see who he is. He is just one of the many surprises up our sleeves this year."
There has already been speculation that Big Brother will appear as a robot, who will set tasks and secret missions, and may even have control over the £100,000 prize fund - but it is unclear how long he will be staying in the house.
As well as Big Brother taking a physical form, Wednesday's last ever launch night will only confirm housemates at the last minute - with 90 hopefuls gathering at the studios to compete for a spot.
There has also been speculation that some of the show's famous ex-housemates may return for the controversial programme's finale.
'Big Brother' launches on Wednesday at 9pm on Channel 4.
