Susan Boyle would like 'Nellie the Elephant' to be played at her funeral.

The 49-year-old singer - who shot to fame after appearing on 'Britain's Got Talent' in 2009 - revealed she would like to make the congregation laugh at her funeral if she were to pass away and thinks the children's novelty track would be the perfect choice to make mourners smile.

When asked what her choice of song would be, she said: "It would have to be 'Nellie the Elephant'. She packed her trunk and said goodbye to the circus.

"You've got to leave them laughing. Funerals don't have to be sad - Peter Sellers made them smile with 'In the Mood' - so I could do it with 'Nellie the Elephant'."

The Scottish hitmaker - who famously declared on her UK TV talent show 'Britain's Got Talent' she had never been kissed - went on to reveal the show's judge Piers Morgan gave Susan her first kiss.

She stated: "I did say I'd never been kissed but it's official: Piers was my first!"

Susan's brother Gerry Boyle recently admitted his sister is looking for love.

He said: "Susan has the world at her feet in terms of fame and money but at this precise moment in time it means nothing. Absolutely nothing. The one thing she wants above all everything else is love. Who doesn't?

"Her biggest wish is to find someone who she can share her success with and support her through the difficult times. Of course her family will always be there for her but it is not the same as having someone special in your life."
