N-Dubz hope for US number one
N-Dubz hope to have number one single in the US with help from music executive L.A Reid
N-Dubz dream of cracking America after being signed to Def Jam records.
The group will work alongside record executive L.A Reid - who has previously helped the careers of Mariah Carey, Pink and Usher - and hope they will be prioritised by the music mogul.
North London rapper, Dappy - who joins his cousin Tulisa and friend Fazer to make the 'Playing With Fire' hitmakers - said: "We're not gonna let L.A Reid down. But he mustn't let us down. Hopefully he keeps prioritising us if he wants to prioritise us. He's a legend, you get me? We wanna try and get a number one in America one day. Try and sell a big album. We want to show them there are other amazing bands other than the Black Eyed Peas."
Fazer also has high hopes for the group, but feels Tulisa, can sometimes be too harsh on them.
He told BBC Newsbeat: "Me and Dappy, we are young we are enjoying our life at the moment. Sometimes we do things the females don't particularly agree with, so Tulisa has a dig at us every now and again, but it's the norm now. We wanna do well. We're gonna do well in America."
