Impressionist Paul Burling and singer Christopher Stone have made it through to the 'Britain's Got Talent' final
Impressionist Paul Burling is through to the 'Britain's Got Talent' final.
The 41-year-old comedian received the most public votes in last night's (02.06.10) semi-final, meaning he will now compete for the £100,000 prize this weekend, thanks to his impersonations of celebrities including Harry Hill.
Singer Christopher Stone is also through to the final after being chosen by the judges over dance group Peridot.
He performed 'The Impossible Dream' and was told he had "nailed it" by head judge Simon Cowell.
Meanwhile, 10-year-old singer Chloe Hickinbottom burst into tears when the winners were announced. Her version of 'Moon River' was praised by the judges but she needed consoling from presenter Ant McPartlin when she failed to make it into the final.
Her dad was seen running to the front of the stage but was taken back stage to comfort his daughter off- camera.
Other acts sent home last night included classical group The Arrangement, elderly Irish dancer Jimmy Ford, dance troupe Starburst and Madonna impersonator Philip Grimmer.
