Jack P. Shepherd has reportedly been dumped by his long-term girlfriend after getting another woman pregnant.
The 'Coronation Street' actor - who portrays soap badboy David Platt in the ITV1 soap - has apparently been ditched by Lauren Shippey, the mother of his 15-month-old daughter Nyla, after he confessed to having a one night stand with blonde Sammy Milewski.
The promotions worker claims Jack told her he was single when they met, three hours before they went to bed together, and that he has since asked her to have an abortion.
She told the News of the World newspaper: "When we met he told me he was single - and I thought he was a great down-to-earth guy. Now I realise he is just an immature p**t. I've even had one of his friends on at me - pressuring me to have a termination. But I won't do it."
The 22-year-old actor is said to have moved in with friends in Manchester after Lauren - who he has dated since he was 14 - took their daughter to stay with her parents in Leeds.
Jack is thought to have confessed to the fling last night (29.05.10) after a Sunday newspaper threatened to expose his secret.
Sammy claims she questioned Jack several times about his relationship status before sleeping with him, after he watched the soap star appear on TV quiz show 'All Star Mr. and Mrs.'.
She added: "When we returned to the bar he tried to kiss me. I told him to get lost because I thought he had a girlfriend. I'd seen them in 'All Star Mr. and Mrs.' on TV saying how happy they were. But Jack said, 'We split up ages ago'. He kept trying to kiss me and I gave in."
However, the actor was less than happy when Sammy broke the news of her pregnancy to him over the phone.
She revealed: "Jack said, 'I am s*****ing it, you can't do this to me, you are going to destroy me'. He said he'd get sacked from 'Coronation Street'."
A 'Coronation Street' spokeswoman added: "This is a personal situation which Jack is dealing with."
