Erin Andrews and Nicole Scherzinger jointly topped the judges scoreboard on 'Dancing With The Stars' last night (24.05.10).
The TV presenter and the Pussycat Dolls singer and their respective partners Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Derek Hough both scored 55 out of 60 after performing two dances in the first instalment of the show's finale.
Olympic ice skating champion Evan Lysacek and partner Anna Trebunskaya came third after receiving 52 out of 60.
All three couples had to perform a redemption dance - which was assigned by the judges based on a previous performance they thought could have been done better - and then a freestyle routine.
Erin and Maksim performed a Samba, Evan and Anna did a Viennese Waltz while Nicole and Derek were given a Rumba.
Erin scored 29, while Evan and Nicole both received 28.
Judge Len Goodman told Erin: "Because this is the final, that doesn't mean our demands aren't any less. In fact, they're more. The improvement from last time you danced the samba is fantastic."
Nicole and Derek won the freestyle round even though they slipped a little at the end.
Tonight (25.05.10), the couples will all perform twice more for the judges before the winner is announced.
