Rosie Webster's nice future
'Coronation Street' character Rosie Webster is set to become ''a lot nicer'' in upcoming storylines on the ITV1 soap
'Coronation Street' character Rosie Webster is set to become a "lot nicer" in a new storyline.
The money-grabbing office worker - played by Helen Flanagan - has revealed viewers could be in for a shock when her alter-ego changes for the better.
Following a meeting with the ITV1 show's new boss Phil Collinson, she said: "I'm so excited. We've just got a new producer and he's absolutely lovely. I'm really excited about the storylines for my character.
"I can't let on, but I think you'll see a change for my character. I'm really happy because she's going to become a lot nicer and hopefully the audience will like her better, so that should be good."
At the moment, Helen is regularly approached by members of the public who hurl abuse at her because of her bitchy role.
However, the 20-year-old beauty tries hard not to take negative comments personally.
She told What's On TV: "I'm quite sensitive really but I try not to take it to heart. At the end of the day, I'm playing a character."
