Kym Marsh's Corrie wardrobe
'Coronation Street' actress Kym Marsh often steals the clothes belonging to her soap alter-ego whenever she has a fashion emergency.
Kym Marsh borrows her 'Coronation Street' character's clothes.
The actress - who plays barmaid Michelle Connor in the soap - knows she can always rely on her alter ego's wardrobe if she has a fashion emergency.
Kym - who is dating former 'Hollyoaks' star Jamie Lomas - said: "I went to see Jamie on one of his last nights in 'A Chorus Line' with Bev Callard and her partner Jon McEwan. I'd taken a top to change into after work, but couldn't find it, so I raided my character Michelle's wardrobe and borrowed one of hers!"
Losing her top isn't the only fashion mishap Kym has had recently.
The brunette beauty was left having to find an old gown to wear to the British Soap Awards - and had to get a hotel employee to sew her into the dress.
She explained to new! magazine: "The Roberto Cavalli dress I wore for the British Soap Awards got a mixed reaction, but I really liked it! I was supposed to be wearing a Philip Armstrong design but missed my last fitting because of work.
"This dress had been hanging in my wardrobe for six months because the straps needed altering. I took it thinking I'd be able to find a tailor, but nowhere was open so the receptionist at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London hotel kindly sewed me into it!"
