Gabriella Cilmi happy with album
Gabriella Cilmi believes there is plenty of life in her album 'Ten' despite it only reaching number 28 in the UK charts on its release.
Gabriella Cilmi isn't worried about chart positions.
The 'Hearts Don't Lie' singer - whose second LP 'Ten' only reached number 28 in the UK chart on its release - claims sales and downloads do not upset her and still believes there is life in her album yet.
She said: "I try not to get too caught up in that business, but I don't think the album's life is over yet. I've got lots of live performances booked in which definitely keeps me going. I feel positive that there is plenty more to come!"
The 18-year-old pop star also admits her third album could have a very different sound to the sci-fi inspired 'Ten'.
She told website Digital Spy: "I think I'll do something different next time - a country album is a possibility because I'm a massive Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash fan. I'm wearing all black today actually because Cash once said: 'You never know when you're going to your funeral!' I'm also a massive Enya fan, so a collaboration with her would be fun as well."
Gabriella recently confessed she would like to take Leona Lewis on an Australian-themed night out when she supports her on her debut UK tour.
She told BANG Showbiz: "I could take her out on an Aussie night out and have a good party. I just like going out and having a good boogey. It would be fun! As long as you've got company, we'd have a great night."
