Steph Fearon isn't Dorothy
Steph Fearon has sung for the last time on 'Over The Rainbow', losing out in the semi-finals to Lauren Samuels.
Steph Fearon has been voted off 'Over The Rainbow',
The 21-year-old Londoner was the eighth contestant to leave the show after a performance of 'Another Suitcase in Another Hall' from Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical classic 'Evita' yesterday (16.05.10).
Andrew made the final decision to axe Steph, claiming she was not the person he had in mind to play 'Wizard of Oz' lead character Dorothy, saving her rival Lauren Samuels, who was also in the sing-off.
He said: "I'm glad it's the last time I have to make this decision. I know you all so well now, it's like family. I feel dreadful that I have to take a decision on who is best for Dorothy. I'm going to save Lauren."
Commenting on her exit, Steph said: "I had the best time of my life. I've made friends for life. I've learnt so much. Thanks to everyone backstage - you're all amazing. I've had the time of my life."
Lauren, Sophie Evans and Danielle Hope will now battle it out in the live final next Saturday (22.05.10) for the chance to play Dorothy on London's West End.
