'Silly Billies' Twist and Pulse
'Britain's Got Talent' wacky duo Twist and Pulse trained for two years in ballet and tap to condition their bodies for their 'streetomedy' routines
'Britain's Got Talent' dance stars Twist and Pulse are "silly Billy Elliots".
The duo - Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy - wowed the 'Britain's Got Talent' judges on Saturday's (15.05.10) show are trained in tap and ballet dance, which they combine with natural comedic moments to create their 'Steetomedy' routines.
Glen said: "We both did training for two years in ballet and tap because it helps with conditioning the body."
Ashley added to the Daily Star newspaper: "When we make up the routines we always do something silly or something natural will happen that's funny and we say 'Why don't we see how that goes in the act?'"
The pair, both 19, have also revealed they are relying on the support of last year's winners, dance troupe Diversity, for advice on making it through to the finals of the competition.
Ashley said: "We are good friends with Diversity and with Flawless, who got to the final too. We know them from the London dance scene and it helps to know people who have already done what you're doing.
"We spoke to them after our audition and it's good to know they are there to help if we get to the semi-finals."
