Dizzee Rascal wants US success
Dizzee Rascal is convinced he will be successful in America, but is in no hurry to conquer the States
Dizzee Rascal has vowed to crack America.
The 'Holiday' hitmaker believes he can be just as big a star in the US as he is in the UK but is in no rush to make his breakthrough Stateside.
He said: "I'll take my time man but yeah, it will happen. America is so big on hip-hop it'll happen, no doubt. It'll be when I want it to be."
The 24-year-old star admitted his success means he is often approached by wannabe rappers, and although he is willing to listen to their efforts, he will give an honest opinion.
He added in an interview with Shortlist magazine: "I'll listen. There's always going to be one or two idiots but I cut that s**t kinda short. In person, I'm not the same man you've seen on TV. You can't just talk s**t to me. Really, it's not a good idea."
His new single, 'Dirtee Disco' is out now in the UK.
