Leighton Meester fulfilled by music

Leighton Meester finds music more fulfilling than acting.
The 'Gossip Girl' star has just released her second single 'Your Love's a Drug' and insists creating something from nothing is more rewarding than working from a script.
She told Popeater.com: "You can start from square one and really build a song from whatever your heart desires. And that's the most fulfilling. I just want it to be good. I want people to get a sense of me through my music."
Leighton - whose album 'Love Is A Drug' is expected to be released this summer - has also named Ke$ha's 'Tik Tok' and The Black Eyed Peas track 'I Gotta Feeling' as two of her favourite songs and direct influences.
She said: "They make you feel like you don't have to worry about tomorrow."
Although Leighton, 24, is focusing on her music right now, she is also working on a new film with Adam Brody and Hugh Laurie.
The singer-and-actress is having an "amazing" time on 'The Oranges', which will also star Catherine Keener, Allison Janney, Oliver Platt, and Alia Shawkat.
She said: "It's about two families that live across the street from each other and are super close friends and my character, Nina, she's pretty much absent from the whole family for a while.
"She comes back and starts to have a relationship with Hugh's character, David, and it really disrupts all their lives. It's been amazing so far."
