Devon Anderson fears he is to be fired from 'EastEnders'.

The 23-year-old actor - who plays Billie Jackson in the BBC One show - is reportedly terrified the soap's new producer Bryan Kirkwood will sack him again after he axed him from 'Hollyoaks' in 2007 where he was the Channel 4 show's producer.

A friend of Devon's told The Daily Star newspaper: "Now Bryan has feet under the table he's already axed a number of characters and Devon fears he could be next."

Bryan's bad time-keeping is said to be is said to be the main reason that Devon and Bryan have clashed in the past.

Devon was also reportedly banned from The British Soap Awards on Saturday (08.05.10) after breaching BBC rules for advertising clothes on twitter.

An 'EastEnders' spokesperson said: "Devon was due to attend the event on Saturday but the invitation was withdrawn. It's a private matter."

This is one of many run-ins the pair have reportedly had since Bryan took over from Diederick Santer as the 'EastEnders' boss.

Bryan has already announced plans to axe Ben Mitchell (Charlie Jones), Chelsea Fox (Tiana Benjamin), Minty (Cliff Parisi), and Charlie Slater (Derek Martin) from Albert Square.

Devon, who began a four-year stint playing Billie Jackson when he was just six, returned to reprise his role in February this year, and has already been embroiled in a dramatic shooting storyline.
