Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough scored a perfect 30 on 'Dancing With The Stars' last night (10.05.10).
The former Pussycat Dolls singer and her dance partner scooped top marks for their Pasa Doble and 29 out of 30 for their waltz.
Discussing their routines, Derek told America's OK!: "I'm thrilled with what we did tonight. It was such a groundbreaking night for us. It's week eight and we didn't want to come out here and just do two dances. We wanted to come out here and do two great dances and I felt like we achieved that."
Head judge Len Goodman said: "There's nothing I could see to criticise."
Carrie Ann Inaba told asked: "How did you do that? Brilliant!"
Nicole beat Olympic ice-skater Evan Lysacek to the top spot for the first time in two weeks.
The sportsman and his dance partner Anna Trebunskaya - who have topped the list twice before - received marks of 53 out of 60 for their waltz and futuristic Cha-Cha-Cha.
Despite by beaten by Nicole, Evan was thrilled with their routines.
He said: "I think it went really well.
"We tried to be really creative with our dances and show a very different side from the Cha-Cha-Cha to the waltz and I think we accomplished that. The two characters could not been more opposite."
Professional dancer Anna is also in awe of Nicole.
She said: "This girl works her butt off! That work really pays off. They were wonderful tonight."
The final five contestants, including Chad Ochocinco, Niecy Nash and Erin Andrews, will learn their fate tonight.
