John Stape's dramatic future
'Coronation Street' character John Stape is to expect some ''dramatic firework moments'' over the coming weeks as his false identity is discovered.
John Stape's false identity in 'Coronation Street' is set to cause some "dramatic firework moments".
The ex-criminal - who is played by Graeme Hawley - will get into trouble once more when the fake name he adopted to get a job after his stint in prison is unveiled and he is caught out.
Jennie McAlpine, who plays his wife Fiz Stape, told website HolySoap: " John's in his own trouble as well because he's pretending to be someone called Colin Fishwick. It's quite high drama. We can safely say there'll be some dramatic firework moments."
Fiz and John have had a troubled relationship over the past few months, as he is released from prison following his stint inside for kidnapping his pupil Rosie Webster (Helen Flanagan).
The couple's problems are set to continue further when Fiz's young brother Chesney Battersby-Brown (Sam Aston) causes a fresh batch of rows.
Jennie explained: "There's quite a lot of family stuff, there's little bits starting off at the moment that we're filming with Chesney - Chesney growing up and causing trouble for her and John."
