Kate Garraway's GMTV uncertainty
'GMTV' presenter Kate Garraway has admitted she ''doesn't know'' if she has a future on the show now ITV are overhauling the programme.
Kate Garraway "doesn't know" if she has a future on 'GMTV'.
The presenter admits that ITV bosses are still tinkering with the programme and though she wants to work with new host Adrian Chiles, she is unsure whether her contract will continue for much longer.
She told new! magazine: "Everyone keeps asking me about whether I'll be staying on at 'GMTV', but the truth is I really don't know. I feel lucky to have worked on the show for 10 years, and I would love to stay on and work with Adrian, as I know ITV has some very exciting plans for the programme. But everything is undecided at the moment, so I'm just going with the flow and enjoying every day."
Kate - who is recovering from a stint in hospital after suffering from appendicitis - also admitted she is sad about the departure of Ben Shephard, but insists they will stay in touch.
She said: "I was very sad when my good friend and 'GMTV' colleague Ben Shephard resigned from the show recently, but I am positive that he has a great future ahead of him. Ben and I are very close and although I'll miss working with him, I know I'll still be seeing a lot of him."
