Chipmunk praises Dappy
Chipmunk loves working with N-Dubz because he respects Dappy so much as an artist
Chipmunk thinks Dappy from N-Dubz is a "musical genius".
The British rapper - who collaborated with the chart-topping group on 'Suck Yourself' for their LP 'Against All Odds' - has admitted part of the reason why he gets on with the Londoner is because they both respect each other professionally.
He said: "Dappy, he's a musical genius that guy, that's why we've got a mutual respect for each other."
Despite working together, the rappers don't often socialise together.
Chipmunk - real name Jahmaal Noel Fyffe - admitted: "I've never really seen Dappy or his bandmate Fazer out. Recently, I ain't really been feeling the party life, you know. I can have a night out in the studio, and I've got a new drink called Fizz Up.
"It's an alcoholic drink, it's nice. It's not too strong, it's sweet. I like sweet things."
The 19-year-old star has also admitted winning the Best Hip-hop Act prize at the MOBOs last year - where he beat both Kanye West and Jay-Z - was so rewarding because of his "flawless" performance on the night.
He said: "The highlight of the MOBOs for me last year was performing. It was flawless, the dancing and me doing my thing. It was quality, amazing, proper."
