Gwyneth Paltrow's children have American accents.
The American actress - who has two children, daughter Apple, five and son Moses, four, with her British musician husband Chris Martin - has revealed the kids' mixed upbringing in London and New York have led them to develop unusual voices.
She said: "Apple speaks with an English accent in England and an American accent in America. And my son has a weird hybrid of a Brooklyn and British accent. I don't know what he speaks, but it's cute."
The 37-year-old star couldn't say whether she prefers the UK or US because she loves both countries.
She said: "It's not about preference. I love both and I'm fortunate I'm able to go back and forth between England, which has great things, and New York, which also has its great things, and then go to Los Angeles for work and whatever."
Gwyneth admits she loves California too as she gets to see her friends who live there, including her 'Iron Man 2' co-star Robert Downey Jr.
She said: "I really enjoyed being back there. My children were so happy and we had a really nice time as a family. And I really love Robert. Him and his wife are two of my best friends."
