Vicky Binns is leaving 'Coronation Street'.
The 27-year-old actress - whose character Molly Dobbs is currently involved in a love triangle with husband Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) - has promised to go out with a bang when she departs the show after five years.
She said: "It's been a joy to be involved in such a fantastic storyline and it is only right that it has the explosive ending viewers are waiting for.
"I am very excited about playing out the rest of this plot and indeed about what the future holds. I've had an amazing time in the show and feel it's right to leave on such a high."
Molly is currently pregnant and has no idea who the father of her baby is.
'Coronation Street' executive producer Phil Collinson has promised the conclusion to the love triangle will "keep the fans on the edge of their seats".
He added: "Vicky is a superb actress who has helped to make the Molly, Kevin, Tyrone love triangle one of the most talked about soap storylines of the year. We wish her every success for the future."
Steve Jackson - who plays binman Trevor Dean - will also depart the show later this year after bosses decided not to renew his contract.
