Denise Welch doesn't miss Corrie
'Loose Women' presenter Denise Welch has revealed she doesn't miss working on 'Coronation Street', even though she worked there for four years
Denise Welch doesn't miss 'Coronation Street'.
The 51-year-old star - who played barmaid Natalie Barnes in the soap for just under four years until December 2000 - enjoyed her stint on the show, but insists she has no desire to make a return to Weatherfield.
She said: "I don't miss it, no. It was a great job for four years but it was time for me to move on.
"I still see my best friends from the show - Sally Whittaker, Kevin Kennedy and Beverley Callard - on a regular basis."
Denise is now a presenter on ITV daytime show 'Loose Women' and although she mostly enjoys the programme, admits there are days when she doesn't "give a s**t" about what she and the rest of the panel are talking about.
She added to new! magazine: "I love it. It's great because the dynamic changes depending on who you are working with. Obviously you enjoy some shows more than others.
"You get days where you're passionate about the topics, and other days you get the topics you don't give a s**t about."
