David Dickinson has been given his own chat show.

The antiques expert - who is often nicknamed 'The Duke' - is due to star in a daily afternoon talk show titled 'The David Dickinson Show' on ITV1 later this month, where he will chat with celebrity guests, discuss current affairs, topical debates, cookery and antiques as well as running an array of competitions..

An ITV spokesperson said: " 'The David Dickinson Show' will give The Duke a real opportunity to do what he does best - interact with the people - whether trying to win an audience member a "nice bit of cash" in the show's daily quiz 'Seal The Deal', or chatting to the owners of interesting and quirky antique collections. Throughout the series viewers can also expect topical views as David and his team of pundits and celebrity commentators give us their take on the day's news and views."

The programme is due to kick off on Monday May 17 - where he will talk to the new 'Hollyoaks' star Sheree Murphy and funnyman Jo Pasquale.
