Ali Bastian is "gutted" 'The Bill' has been cancelled.
The actress played PC Sally Armstrong in the ITV1 show from 2007 until late last year and can't believe the police drama will soon be leaving British TV screens.
Ali told BANG Showbiz: "I'm absolutely gutted it's being axed, it's a British institution. It's still such a great show and I think it still has a place in the public's heart."
While she's upset about 'The Bill' being cancelled, the former 'Hollyoaks' beauty is very happy in her personal life after finding love with her 'Strictly Come Dancing' partner Brian Fortuna last year.
She said: "Things are really good between me and Brian, everything's going well. We're actually doing a show together in September for six weeks but I'm not worried about us spending all our time together because that's how we met in the first place."
