Suzanne Shaw's innocent character
Suzanne Shaw doesn't think her 'Emmerdale' alter ego Eve Jenson is a troublemaker, even if she pursues a married man.
Suzanne Shaw claims her 'Emmerdale' alter-ego isn't really a troublemaker.
The actress - who plays flirty Eve Jenson in the ITV soap - admits her character may chose to pursue John Barton (James Thornton), a married man, but that's only because she thinks he's "perfect".
She said: "John's different.... Eve seems to go for older guys and to her John is the most perfect man. She doesn't set out to be a troublemaker but, being the way she is, trouble inevitably follows her."
The 28-year-old star revealed her character - who has already shared a cheeky kiss with another resident, Ryan Lamb (James Sutton) - can't help but tease John by turning up at his farm scantily dressed, even though she's read more into their flirtations than there really is.
She said: "There's no way she's wearing those unflattering overalls. Adam's distracted by her but John's thrown when she seductively suggests it's him she's more interested in. There's a lot of eye contact but she reads more into this than he intends."
Even when John's wife Moira, who is played by Natalie J. Robb, warns her off, Eve can't help herself.
Suzanne added: "Eve has a massive crush on him. They have quite a few things in common and she actually thinks he may be interested in her. "
