Gordon Ramsay's Thai kitchen nightmare
Shooting on Gordon Ramsay's latest TV show 'Gordon's Great Escape' in Thailand has been held up by the riots in Bangkok.
Gordon Ramsay is having a kitchen nightmare in Thailand.
The celebrity chef is currently in the Far East filming his TV show 'Gordon's Great Escape' - in which he travels all over the world learning about and cooking local cuisines - but shooting has been delayed due to the rioting in Bangkok.
While in Thailand, he is scheduled to travel into the jungle to learn traditional cooking methods - which include dishes made with snake - and then visit the country's different islands.
A source said: "Gordon is holed up in a hotel. He's been advised to stay there and see what happens before he can move on."
After Thailand, the 43-year-old chef is due to go to Cambodia, Malaysia and Vietnam.
The riots in Bangkok started after anti-government protesters, known as Red Shirts, took to the streets in support of ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Battles between police and the protestors have left 25 people dead in the past two weeks.
