BGT's Darth Jackson returns
Postal worker Philip Farrugia who danced to Michael Jackson dressed as Darth Vader on last year's 'Britain's Got Talent' has returned to the show dressed as Batman.
Darth Jackson is to return to 'Britain's Got Talent' dressed as Batman.
Postal worker Philip Farrugia - who stunned viewers last year when he dressed up as 'Stars Wars' baddie Darth Vader and danced to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' - took to the stage in the superhero's outfit and announced his name was "Bat Jackson".
He then entertained the audience and judges - Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden - with his tribute to Michael, who died last June.
A source said: "This guy came on stage at Birmingham and the judges thought they recognised him in spite of his disguise. When he announced who he was the audience just fell about laughing. But he provided some light relief as it had been a long slog of a day."
His audition for the ITV1 show is set to be aired in the next few of weeks.
Last year, Philip feared he would break down when performing on the 'Britain's Got Talent' roadshow after the death of Michael.
He said: "I'm in shock. So is everyone else on 'Britain's Got Talent'. I'm still coming to terms with it, I think I'll break down at some point to be honest, I just hope it's not during my act. But I'm a professional and I will do my best to do justice to Michael's memory."
