Ant and Dec tip 'compelling' Regurgitator
Ant and Dec believe Stevie 'The Regurgitator' Starr will go far on 'Britain's Got Talent' and described his performance on Saturday (24.04.10) as one of the most ''compelling'' acts ever on the show.
Ant and Dec believe Stevie 'The Regurgitator' Starr is one of the most "compelling" acts ever on 'Britain's Got Talent'.
The presenting duo were impressed with his performance on Saturday's show (24.04.10) - in which he swallowed coins and a billiard ball before bringing them up - and think he will go far in the ITV1 show even though his act might not have appealed to everyone.
Writing on their blog, they said: "Watching from the side of the stage was gripping and it is with some slight grimacing that we can verify we heard the noise of the coins clicking together as they fell into his stomach. gross, yet neither of us could avert our eyes as the human cash machine as he did his thing.
"As you all know, we've had farting acts and burping acts but the sight of a man chucking up cash proved to be one of the most grossly compelling forms of entertainment either of us have ever seen.and when he swallowed the billiard ball, we damn near wiped a tear away from our eyes. If money eating, ball swallowing regurgitating is wrong then we don't want to be right!"
Another act to impress Ant and Dec on Saturday was singer Christopher Stone, who they think could be this year's answer to Susan Boyle.
They said: "We couldn't not mention Christopher Stone, the accountant accompanied by his mum and dad who flawed us all with that big, theatrical voice which no one expected. Is it just us or did his performance evoke the same kind of 'wow factor' that Susan Boyle did last year?"
