Ant and Dec accused of joke theft
'Britain's Got More Talent' host Stephen Mulhern has reportedly been infuriated by Ant and Dec, who keep copying his jokes
Ant and Dec have been accused of copying Stephen Mulhern's jokes.
The 'Britain's Got Talent' presenters have reportedly infuriated the magician, who is the host of spin-off show 'Britain's Got More Talent', by mimicking his gags as they stand at opposite sides of the stage.
A source said: "Stephen has been getting riled. He puts on a hat, they put on a hat. He dances, they dance. He even started singing using a carrot as a microphone - and the next thing you know, they're doing the same."
Stephen decided to address the matter after seeing Dec wearing an identical shirt to his, and rushed to confront the pair.
He reportedly told them: "Can I just clear something up, lads? It's a small issue, you know I don't really mind, but you're copying me."
However, Ant replied: "Well, considering people are watching us first on ITV1, it will always look like you're copying us."
The trio are now said to be planning a series of jokes to play on one another in the live finals stage of the show.
The source added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: "There are always in-jokes on TV shows and there will be plenty about this when the live finals roll round.
"But viewers will be able to get in on the joke by watching both the ITV1 and ITV2 shows."
