Simon Cowell promises Boyle moment
Simon Cowell has promised viewers that they have not yet seen the best of the 'Britain's Got Talent' auditions.
Simon Cowell has reassured fans there will be a "Susan Boyle" moment on 'Britain's Got Talent'.
The music mogul insists the first audition programme, which aired on Saturday (17.04.10), did not show all of this year's strongest auditions, and has promised there will be at least one act who will take the nation by storm in the way that Scottish singer Susan did last year.
He said: "We haven't put all the best acts in the first episode this year, so viewers will still be surprised.
"There are some really good acts coming up."
Among the performers who have already impressed viewers and the judging panel was dancing dog Chandi and her owner Tina Humphrey.
However, one person who is not impressed is Kate Nicholas, the owner of Gin, a performing pooch who reached the finals of the show in 2008.
She blasted: "Chandi has grown up appearing at dancing dog shows and on TV. She is a showbiz dog.
"What is unique about Gin is that she grew up with me and I taught her all those tricks and dance moves at home.
"The first time she'd ever been on a stage or faced an audience was on 'BGT' back in 2008.
"Chandi has been doing it for years."
Chandi's owner Tina - who has previously taken her pet on TV shows including 'Blue Peter' and Graham Norton's 'When Will I Be Famous' - refused to be drawn into a row.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: "I have nothing but admiration for fellow dog performers."
