Emma Willis praises Wright gentleman
TV presenter Emma Willis has revealed she was surprised to learn 'Live From Studio Five' host Ian Wright was an ''absolute gentleman''
Emma Willis thinks Ian Wright is an "absolute gentleman".
The television presenter - who recently took over from Melinda Messenger on 'Live From Studio Five' alongside Ian Wright and Kate Walsh following the former glamour models departure from the show -claims the former football star is anything but the "intolerable" person she thought he'd be.
The 34-year-old star told new! magazine: "So far, so good. My experiences of him are that he's extremely lovely and an absolute gentleman. Some people just don't click."
Melinda previously claimed Ian forced her to quit the Five programme after he accused her of dominating the show's on-air discussions, but Emma isn't worried the same thing will happen to her.
She said: "I had been a guest on the show so I met Melinda briefly then. I think she was on holiday when I filled in for her previously... but I'm enjoying it. It's a light-hearted show. Ian and Kate are fun to work with and have been hugely welcoming."
Emma - who has a daughter Isabelle, 10 months, with her husband Matt Willis - admits this is the dream job and fits in perfectly with her family life.
She said: "Matt's a house husband at the moment. He's loving it... It's nice for him to have all this time with her. It's not bad because I don't have to leave until 2pm and I'm home by 8.30pm."
