'Hollyoaks Later' has been commissioned for an "exciting" third series.
The late-night E4 show - which is a saucy spinoff of the soap 'Hollyoaks' - is currently in pre-production and will be run by the new producer Paul Marquess, who has promised viewers will be "blown away" with the storylines.
He said: "This commission is a huge vote of confidence in 'Hollyoaks' from Channel 4. Seamlessly integrated with the 6.30pm shows, 'Hollyoaks Later' 2010 will be the most exciting series so far. Prepare to be blown away."
The series will consist of five hour-long episodes, which will air during a week in October.
Although the planned storyline remains secret, 'Hollyoaks' characters including McQueen family members Michaela (Hollie-Jay Bowes), Theresa (Jorgie Porter), Mercedes (Jennifer Metcalfe) and her husband Malachy Fisher (Glen Wallace) are all due to appear.
The plot will also include wannabe glamour model Mitzeee (Rachel Shenton) and Carl, Riley and Seth Costello - who are portrayed by Paul Opacic, Rob Norbury and Miles Higson.
Channel 4's commissioning editor Roberto Troni admitted he was thrilled with the concept and hopes it will bring "fun, glamour and grown-up drama" to the show.
He said: "'Hollyoaks' is a hit with E4 audiences and we always look for opportunities to extend the brand and give fans something extra.
"The 'Hollyoaks Later' spinoff provides a unique opportunity to experiment in a late night slot while staying true to the series. The late-night storylines will be a cocktail of fun, glamour and grown-up drama."
