Blair Atholl
Aside from the beautiful walks around the castle and the grounds, Blair Atholl Estate is never short of things to do whether it’s activities or bike rides. This year check out Eggy, Steady, Go! (2–4 Apr) complete with egg painting, egg rolling, a treasure hunt and children’s tours of the castle.

Camperdown Park
Jump in a car, bus or train and head for the picturesque Camperdown Park near Dundee. While you’re there, enjoy the annual Easter Fun Day (4 Apr) complete with street theatre performers, radio roadshow, live bands, arts and sport activities, fairground rides and stalls.

Dobbies Garden Centre

Deep Sea World
Dah-duh. Dah-duh. Dah-duh dah-duh dah-duh … Go enjoy the sharks, seal pools, red-bellied piranha and so much more at this popular permanent attraction out in North Queensferry. Better still, go before Sun 18 Apr with a decorated egg and recieve £2 off your admission.

Easter Egg Trails
The brainchild of the National Trust for Scotland, Easter egg trails will be held in a variety of Scottish locations, with Cadbury’s eggs up for grabs from 2–5 Apr.

Falkirk Wheel
It’s a mighty fine bit of machinery to look at and admire as the wheel raises and lowers boats from the Union Canal above to the Forth and Clyde below, but it’s also hosting Easter at the Falkirk Wheel (4–19 Apr) including egg-decorating, colouring-in, face painting and an Easter treasure hunt.

The Glasshouse
Come along and meet the chicks, lambs, ducklings and rabbits housed in the Glasshouse from 1–8 Apr.

Holyrood Park
Get your thinking cap on and Search for the Holy-rood Grail (4 Apr) as the Holyrood Park education centre offers the chance to paint an egg, then roll it down the hill, as well as a history trail and puppet show.

Ingliston Country Club, Bishopton Pony Club
This equestrian centre offers a range of opportunities to get involved this Easter. Any child of 8 or above can spend two hours of their weekend at the Pony Club where they will be taught the basics of riding the four legged friend.

Tron Theatre
If you fancy a spot of culture this Easter, the Tron is showing Mish Gorecki Goes Missing (14–25 Apr), the tale of a nine-year-old girl who goes AWOL, which is aimed at teenagers.
