Cindy Crawford won't worry about wrinkles
Cindy Crawford finds family life so demanding that she doesn't have a spare minute to worry about fighting the ageing process
Cindy Crawford doesn't have time to worry about her wrinkles.
The 44-year-old supermodel - who has two children, Presley, 10, and Kaia, eight, with husband Rande Gerber - says fighting the ageing process isn't important to her because family life keeps her so busy.
She said: "When you don't have anything interesting to do, you start thinking too much about what you don't have anymore. When you can appreciate fulfilling things like family, work, friends or the possibility of helping other people, you will have a focus. The list could go on.
"But to be standing in front of a mirror and to moan, 'Oh my God, I've just found another wrinkle!' That's embarrassing. I don't have time for that."
The American beauty - who quit modeling in 2000, but has since gone on to design her own furniture line - was always satisfied by her phenomenally successful career, but her work successes do not compare to the joys of family life.
Speaking to German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, she said: "I enjoyed my life, but I'm happy my times as a supermodel are over. I had a great time and a lot of opportunities. But I'm a mother. When you have children you see the world with different eyes, that's the wonderful thing about it.
"Because of my children I live a completely new and different life - for me that's worth a fortune. I still work a lot - for my own business though - which is really fulfilling."
