Keisha Buchanan closes door on Mutya
Keisha Buchanan has ruled out ever reuniting with her former Sugababes bandmate Mutya Buena, because she and the band have moved on
Keisha Buchanan will never let Mutya Buena rejoin the Sugababes.
The singer - who founded the girl group with Mutya in 1998 - doesn't want her former bandmate back in the trio but insists she harbours no hard feeling towards her.
She said: "It would just never happen. We're in a different place right now and we wish her the best of luck and we're just looking forward to the future."
Bandmate Heidi Range says she hasn't spoken to the mother-of-one since she quit the group in 2006 in order to pursue a solo career, and admits she was left bemused by her decision at the time.
Heidi added to Heat magazine: "I haven't really spoken to her since she left, but not because we fell out. We were really good friends and she never called to say she'd even left or why she'd left. I expected a phone call and that's it really, we never had a cross word. I was really upset, but I don't wish her any harm."
Mutya left the pop trio 2005 and was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. The Sugababes are preparing to release their new album 'Sweet 7', which contains the hit single 'Get Sexy'.
