The Leader of Glasgow City Council and Chair of Glasgow City Marketing Bureau is set to launch Glasgow’s Style Mile, a two year plan to expand and strengthen the role of the city centre as the UK’s premier shopping destination outside the West End of London. Plans are part of a proposed extension to the already successful Glasgow: Scotland with Style.

Perthshire writer Mark Robertson is hoping to take Broadway by storm at this year’s New York Musicals Festival if he can get funding. Marrying Meg tells the story of Meg Murray, the ‘lass with the muckle mou’ in Alexander Reid’s play of the same name. For more information, contact Mark on 01250 870 627.

Names are still coming in thick and fast for this year’s V Festival. Leading the way are pop kids, McFly who joins Pixie Lott, Australian dance wizards Sneaky Sound System and Asher Roth. Tickets are still available.
