Cheryl Cole plans style overhaul
Cheryl Cole is going to radically change her fashion style in order to compete with fellow fashion conscious 'X Factor' judge Dannii Minogue
Cheryl Cole is planning a style overhaul.
The Girls Aloud singer is reportedly planning a radical change of image after becoming worried about being upstaged by her fellow 'X Factor' judge Dannii Minogue, who debuted an edgier look at the show's first auditions last week.
A source said: "Cheryl was taken aback when she first saw Dannii's new look. She knew that she'd had a new haircut but she was shocked when she saw her complete style makeover. It's a total departure for her - and she looks great.
"Cheryl wants something a bit sharper now. She's telling people she wants to 'de-Barbie' herself."
Cheryl is planning to update her style ahead of the British TV series' return in August and is demanding a new make-up artist.
The source added: "She has already consulted her hair stylist Julien Guyonnet already and wants something a bit fresher and modern, with fewer extensions.
"Cheryl and Dannii shared a hair stylist and make-up artist last series, but Cheryl has insisted this year that they have separate ones as she feels they often ended up looking too similar. This year, she really wants to stand out."
