Whitney Houston will perform at a pre-Grammy party next month.
Whitney, whose career has been derailed by her battle with crack-cocaine addiction, is set to step back into the spotlight by headlining music mogul Clive Davis' bash at The Beverly Hilton hotel on February 7.
A representative for Davis confirmed: "Whitney Houston will, barring any physical ailments, perform at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party."
Whitney - who is believed to be currently working on her seventh studio album which will be released in March - is expected to showcase her new material when she performs.
P. Diddy and Jennifer Hudson - whose mother, brother and nephew were murdered last October - are also set to play live at the exclusive bash.
The event is so popular some would-be revelers have been offering Davis $20,000 to let them attend.
However, Davis has drawn up a strict guest list of the music industry's biggest names and is not interested in accepting big money offers for tickets.
The party will take part the evening before the 51st Annual Grammy Awards.
