Britney Spears' Madonna duet

Britney Spears performed with Madonna last night (06.11.08).

The pair joined forces at Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium for a rendition of Madonna's hit 'Human Nature' as part of the 50-year-old star's 'Sticky and Sweet' tour.

Wearing a conservative frilly white shirt and wide-leg black trousers, Britney wowed the star-studded audience - which included Jennifer Lopez, Drew Barrymore, Heidi Klum, Kate Moss, Ryan Seacrest and Fergie - who clapped wildly as she sang in public for the first time since her much-criticised performance at the MTV Video Music Awards last year.

Madonna threw her arm around the 26-year-old star as Britney gave her signature greeting to the crowd, saying with a laugh: "It's Britney b***h".

After performing 'Human Nature' - for which a video segment of Britney is usually shown during Madonna's tour - the pair kissed each other on the hand as Britney left the stage.

Her appearance was far more demure than during her last performance with Madonna.

In 2003, the pair sparked controversy when they shared a steamy kiss at the MTV Music Awards in New York.

Britney wasn't the only special guest at the show.

Later in the evening, Justin Timberlake joined Madonna on stage to perform their hit single '4 Minutes'.

During the duet, Madonna strutted over to the 'SexyBack' singer and began suggestively grinding against Justin - bringing a "mischievous" smile to the 27-year-old star's face.

Alex 'A-Rod' Rodriguez, Madonna's rumoured lover, enjoyed the show from the front row of the stadium.

A source said: "Alex seemed to be having a great time. He was moving to the music and he was definitely paying attention to Madonna on the stage."
