The Fudge Kitchen
Outside this sweetly twee little shop there is usually a big sign inviting you in for free fudge tasting - you probably won't need asking twice.

Recycled vintage clothing jazzed up by hand. The owner creates bespoke pieces in his back-store workshop and each one is a complete one-off, which helps explain why his designs are so widely sought after.

Initially a Glasgow store, but now a nationwide chain, Fopp deals in CDs, books, vinyl and other music-related ephemera. A good spot for hunting down bargain albums and keeping up with the kids.

This deli shop brims with wholesome fair and Middle Eastern treats, like chunky hummus dip, falafel wraps and delicious homemade baklava.
