Kate Hudson's rapping son
Kate Hudson says her four-year-old son Ryder is "really into rap music and hard rock", following in the footsteps of his father, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson.
Kate Hudson's four-year-old son is "really into rap music and hard rock".
The 'Fool's Gold' star - who is divorced from Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, the father of their son Ryder - is surprised by her tot's choice of music, but is prepared to accept it.
She said: "Ryder is really into rap music and hard rock. It's so funny because while I like rap, it's not really what Chris and I would listen to around the house. But my kid just loves it. It makes him feel cool. I see his little face and all of a sudden he thinks he's cool."
Kate also revealed she loved starring alongside Dane Cook in new movie 'My Best Friend's Girl', because it was the first role that has allowed her to curse on screen.
She added to Parade.com: "I actually talk like that. It's like the first time I actually felt, 'Oh, I can say the sort of inappropriate things that I say sometimes in real life when I'm talking about people in and out of relationships and stuff.' It was fun to swear in a movie which I've never really done before.
"Now that I have a son, I don't swear as often on a day-to-day basis. But boy, yeah, I can throw out some bad words every once in a while."
