Want tickets for Liam Gallagher's Knebworth show? Here's everything you need to know

The former Oasis frontman will hit Knebworth this year in support of his latest album
Noel's been slagged rotten, Twitter's alight with the word 'biblical' and Radio X is bathing in the Lynx deodorant aroma of 90s Britpop like it was the hottest new music. It can only mean one thing – Liam Gallagher's announced a massive one-off show at Knebworth Park and it's going to be (sorry) biblical.
After the rip-roaring success of feature film Oasis Knebworth 1996, which marked 25 years since the band's record-breaking two nights at the venue, it seems inevitable that at least one of the Gallagher brothers would return to the scene of the crime for a victory lap and a bit of lairy banter.
Older, wiser and (marginally) more sober than 25 years ago, this concert could be a new milestone in Liam's career – it is, after all, his biggest solo show to date.
Want the lowdown on how to get tickets before they sell out? Then take a look at this article, which tells you when the Knebworth show's happening, what might be on Arkid's set list, how much tickets will cost and much more.
Where and when will Liam Gallagher be performing in the UK?
UPDATE: As well as two nights at Knebworth, Liam's announced two stadium shows in Manchester and Glasgow. Tickets for the stadium shows are available from Ticketmaster and See Tickets, and go on general sale at 9.30am on Friday 15 October.
Here's a detailed list of all Gallagher's gigs in 2022:
Wednesday 1 June – Etihad Stadium, Manchester
Friday 3 June - Knebworth Park, Stevenage (SOLD OUT)
Saturday 4 June – Knebworth Park, Stevenage (SOLD OUT)
Sunday 26 June – Hampden Park, Glasgow
When do Liam Gallagher tickets go on sale?
Fans who pre-order C'MON YOU KNOW , Gallagher's third studio album, from his official site by Wednesday 6 October will receive pre-sale access to gig tickets at 10am on Thursday 7 October. Tickets for Liam Gallagher's Knebworth Park show then go on general sale at 10am on Friday 8 October.
Where can I buy Liam Gallagher tickets?
How much will tickets for the performances cost?
General admission tickets for the gigs are £65 before booking fee. VIP and camping packages are also available for an additional fee if you fancy the full festival experience.
Who else will be playing at the Knebworth gig?
This is a day teeming with special guests. Kicking proceedings off are post-punkers Goat Girl, followed by posh rockers Fat White Family, Mercury prize winner Michael Kiwanuka, then special guests Kasabian.
Kasabian are a particularly interesting act to see in the line-up, as by this point they'll have a brand new vocalist after disgraced frontman Tom Meighan's expulsion from the band. Will the refreshed line-up get festival crowds revved up like they used to? Time will tell.
What can I expect to hear at Gallagher's gigs?
The Knebworth gig is partly in support of Gallagher's latest album C'MON YOU KNOW, so expect to hear plenty from that and his previous solo efforts.
But this is also a very special venue for Oasis, whose two-night run at Knebworth in 1996 broke records, with over 2% of the population attempting to buy tickets.
Most Liam Gallagher gigs are peppered with Oasis classics anyway – particularly the heady heights of Definitely Maybe and What's The Story Morning Glory? – but we expect this one to feature more than usual. This could even be Gallagher's attempt to replay that magic for a younger fan base who weren't there the first time around.
Is Gallagher's C'MON YOU KNOW album any good?
Let's be honest, C'MON YOU KNOW isn't going to be an unexpected left turn into experimental jazz. Liam's a man who knows what his fans want and he's happy to serve it up.
His critics may refer to his new material as 'Fauxasis', but Manchester's favourite son is viewed by many as the last goliath of the rock 'n' roll era and his albums carry that torch with pride. The lyrics will be nonsensical, the guitars will be heavy, there'll be a semi-decent ballad, a snide dig at his brother and more Beatles references than you can shake a tambourine at. Personally, we're all for it.
Although there are no solid details of the album yet, Gallagher has unveiled a few names of the tunes. One of them – we told you so – is about his brother Noel.
Speaking to Chris Moyles on Radio X, Liam spilled, 'Right there's a new one called... this next single is going to be called 'Better Days' and it's full of sunshine.
'And then there's another one 'I Wish I Had More Power' and it's dedicated to Noel. Yeah, it's a naughty little tune, but it's lovely.'
Is this secretly an Oasis reunion show?
We'd love nothing more than to see Noel and Liam to wander on stage hand-in-hand next June but, as they famously haven't spoken in over a decade, we wouldn't bet on it. While this show might hit the ecstatic heights of the Knebworth shows 25 years ago, it's very likely that Noel will be washing his hair that night.
How can I guarantee that I'll get tickets?
Like Knebworth 1996 before it, tickets for this will be like gold dust, but there are a number of ways to give yourself an above-average chance of nabbing tickets. Make sure you're using a steady internet connection on on-sale day, don't refresh your browser when you're in the queue and, above all, be patient.
