Legendary synth act will play London, Leeds, Glasgow and Manchester
Soft Cell have announced a handful of UK shows for winter 2021 as part of their Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret 40th anniversary celebration. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday 6 August.
The 'Tainted Love' singers have spent 40 years creating synth-pop magic over four albums, but their debut Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret has remained a landmark in the band's history and has cast an influential shadow over pop music itself.
The album will be performed live and in full for the first time, along with the band's four decades of hits. The duo also announced new album *Happiness Not Included. The first single from the album will be released this autumn, while the album itself will be released on Friday 25 February.
Singer Mark Almond says, 'In this album I wanted to look at us as a society: a place where we have chosen to put profits before people, money before morality and decency, food before the rights of animals, fanaticism before fairness and our own trivial comforts before the unspeakable agonies of others.
'But in the album there is also a belief that there is a utopia if we can peel back the layers and understand what really matters.'

Friday 12 November – O2 Apollo, Manchester
Saturday 13 November – O2 Academy, Leeds
