Gemma Collins has admitted she is not bothered if she dates a man again after her split from James 'Arg' Argent

Gemma Collins doesn't care if she doesn't date again after having her heart broken by James 'Arg' Argent.

The 40-year-old television personality has admitted her love life has taken a backseat since her split from her fellow former 'The Only Way is Essex' star, whom she wanted to marry and have children with.

Speaking on ITV's 'Shopping with Keith Lemon', the GC admitted: “I was very in love with someone, and unfortunately it didn’t work out.

I’m not really bothered if I ever go out with anyone ever again if I’m honest with you.

“I thought I was going to marry him and be with him and do everything with him.

“So, the fact that that’s not happened yet is because really, I wanted it all to be with him.”

The 'Gemma Collins: Diva' star recently admitted she "felt suicidal" when the pair's relationship broke down.

Gemma was at an "all-time low" over Christmas 2019, and she admitted their romance turned "very sour" because of Arg's drug addiction, insisting drugs "changed him as a person".

She said: "For anyone who ever thinks about taking drugs, or just trying it for one night, you can end up getting addicted.

"I was really happy with James. We did get on, but the drugs changed him as a person. I fought every day for three years to get him well.

"I have felt suicidal … I think when my relationship broke down with Arg, that affected me. I just thought, I don't wanna be here anymore. I can't take it.

"Christmas was an all-time low. I saved his life three times, I had this insatiable love for him – I never wanted to give up on him.

"It was hard, there was a lot of love there – the relationship turned very, very sour because of the drugs."

Arg admitted in May last year he was a cocaine addict and revealed his addiction led to him suffering two near-fatal overdoses in 2019.

However, he has been dedicated to getting his life back on track and marked 12 months of sobriety in January.
