Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet have seemingly confirmed they are leaving ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ to focus on becoming first-time parents.
The couple are currently expecting their first child, a baby boy, together and have now taken to Instagram to suggest they won’t be making a return to the ITVBe reality series as they prioritise their new life as parents instead.
Tommy posted a throwback picture to the pair’s time in Marbella with the reality show and wrote: "It’s been a pleasure.”
Before Georgia gave more clarity on the situation as she commented: "Time to be mum & dad now (sic)”
Georgia is expected to give birth this month, and previously revealed in February that she would be having a baby boy via a sweet gender reveal video on social media.
In the clip, Georgia is dressed casually in grey loungewear and cuddling beloved pet dog Monkey as she and Tommy do a 10 second countdown before they pop open large balloons filled with blue confetti.
The couple also admitted they were already aware of their baby’s gender, but wanted to do a reveal video for their fans.
Georgia said: "Obviously we know what we are having, but this is for you!"
The beauty simply captioned the post: "We ARE HAVING A …….. (sic)”
The couple – who have been dating for six years – confirmed their baby news in December.
And it was previously claimed their impending arrival wouldn’t spell the end of Georgia and Tommy’s television careers.
A source had said: “Anyone worried that Georgia and Tommy will suddenly disappear from our screens now they are having a baby needn’t worry.
“As well as the special spin-off episodes they will also be staying on the main Towie show for some time to come.
“They’re two of its most popular characters so producers are delighted to have them stick around, especially when the two lovebirds become a family of three.”
