Eve Myles has confirmed via Twitter that she's expecting her third child

Eve Myles is pregnant.

The 42-year-old actress has revealed via Twitter that she's expecting her third child with husband Bradley Freegard.

Alongside a photo of herself basking in sunshine, Eve – who already has Matilda, 11, and Siena, eight – wrote on the micro-blogging platform: "We would love to share with you all...baby No3 is well and truly on the way! #mamaandbumpenjoyingthesun (sic)"

Eve and Bradley have been married since 2013 and the actor previously starred as her character's husband in the BBC Wales drama 'Keeping Faith'.

However, Eve has admitted she considered quitting acting in order to pursue a career as a midwife.

The TV star revealed she almost walked away from the industry before she landed a role in 'Keeping Faith'.

She shared: "I was having a bit of a wobble. Everything was a bit same-y and I'm the kind of character that likes to be challenged.

"I've been doing this job for more than 20 years and I was thinking about doing something completely different."

Eve also revealed that she had to learn a new language in order to film 'Keeping Faith', which is filmed in English and in Welsh.

She recalled: "Pip [Broughton, director] and I had a relationship. We'd worked together before. She phoned me up and said, 'There's a script we've been working on for a couple of years. You must play the part.'

"I couldn't believe how lucky I was. Then she said it was being filmed back to back, in Welsh and English. And I kind of thought, 'Do I break the news now, or do I try to convince them not to do it in Welsh, because then I can play the part?'

"I thought, 'Just be bold.' I said, 'It would be lovely, but I don't speak Welsh.'

"She said, 'Well, would you mind [learning]?' I went, 'No, no, I can't. I have two children. How do you do that at 38?' So she said, 'I'll send you the script anyway. I'd like to see what you'd think of it'."
