'Coronation Street' actress Rachel Leskovac still gets "giddy" when she is filming opposite cobbles legend Helen Worth, despite acting alongside the 'Corrie' star since 2008
Rachel Leskovac gets "giddy" when she works with her 'Coronation Street' co-star Helen Worth.
The 44-year-old star recently reprised her role as Natasha Blakeman in the ITV soap after 10 years away from the cobbles, and despite previously filming alongside 'Corrie' legend Helen (Gail Platt), she still gets excited about such segments.
She said: "Her [Natasha's] past with Gail is pretty chequered.
"I love that they've built bridges, mother to mother.
"Plus, whenever I have scenes with Helen Worth, I get giddy, as she's brilliant."
Rachel is also hoping to share more screen time with Helen's on-screen mother Sue Nicholls (Audrey Roberts) in the near future.
She said: "I'm so happy to be back working with Ben [Price, aka Nick Tilsley] and Jane [Danson, aka Leanne Battersby] again, as we always have fun.
"I haven't had the chance to work with Sue yet, so I'm hoping we'll have some stuff soon – when I was here 10 years ago, a lot of my scenes were with her, and she's a great actress."
Rachel – who originally played Natasha from 2008 to 2010, before rejoining the soap in 2020 – is keen to star alongside David Neilson (Roy Cropper) more because he is "one of the coolest guys you'll ever meet".
She added to Inside Soap magazine: "I love David Neilson, we get on dead well.
"He's one of the coolest guys you'll ever meet, and really funny, too.
"I also love the ladies from the kebab shop, they're both really funny, so I'd love some scenes with them."
