London's world-famous open-air venue reopens to celebrate stories of laughter, tears, nature and more

Shakespeare's Globe is set to reopen for the first time since last spring on Wednesday 19 May 2021. After one of the most isolating and lonely years in global history, The Globe has confirmed its summer season will 'celebrate all that unites us: story, laughter, tears, nature and of course theatre'.

Starting next month the world-famous open-air venue will host productions of Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Twelfth Night, The Tempest and As You like it. Presale tickets for the shows are available now. Prices start at £8 and to keep visitors safe, The Globe is assuring theatre-goers they will be following Covid-19 guidance from the See It Safely initiative. The venue will make accommodations for social distancing, staggered arrival times, allocated entrances, pre-ordered drinks, no intervals, and seating in the Yard.

2021 at Shakespeare's Globe:
19 May–30 Oct – A Midsummer Night's Dream
8 Jun–29 Aug – As You Like It
11 Jun–29 Aug – The Tempest
26 Jun–17 Oct – Romeo and Juliet
29 Jul–30 Oct – Twelfth Night

Presale tickets for the Shakespeare's Globe 2021 season are available now. The general sale begins at 10am on Thursday 8 April.

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the information displayed here is accurate, always check with the venue before attending (especially during the Covid-19 pandemic).
