AJ and Curtis Pritchard have found it "surreal" being on the 'Hollyoaks' set.
The pair have joined the cast as dancer brothers Marco and Jacob respectively, but they admitted it is "weird" being in the famous village because they grew up watching the Channel 4 soap as part of their daily routine.
Curtis said: "It is so weird, because we would come home from school and we'd always have a little routine.
"We'd watch 'The Simpsons' at 6pm and then 'Hollyoaks' at 6.30pm – like everyone else.
"So, to actually be on set now and be on something that we watched a kids – it's really surreal, actually."
AJ, 26, admitted he has been starstruck on the soap's iconic set.
He added: "It's quite weird being on set.
"I think it was the only time where I've been almost starstruck – like, 'Ooh, there's the cafe, and there's the pub.' "
The pair both live together and they have been using some of their time at home to run through scenes together.
Former 'Strictly Come Dancing' star AJ said: "There is a scene where we're on a bench and I walk over and Curtis is waiting for me.
"We keep practicing with the dining room table."
Speaking in a joint interview, Curtis, 25, added to heat magazine: "We're creating the scenery in the kitchen."
'Hollyoaks' fans will see Marco for the first time on E4 this Friday (26.03.21).
He rocks up at the launch of his rival Trish Minniver's (Denise Welch) new dance school at Hollyoaks High.
