Carley Stenson and Danny Mac are expecting their first child together.
The former 'Hollyoaks' stars – who appeared as Steph Cunningham and Mark Savage on the Channel 4 soap – took to Instagram on Mother's Day (14.03.21) to reveal their baby news.
Carley and Danny both wrote: "Possibly the greatest thing we’ve created since we put Nutella between two salt & vinegar Pringles. (sic)"
The pair also shared the same video, in which Carley placed her hand on Danny's, and their two dogs put their paws against the pair, before a baby scan picture appeared on top of the couple's hands.
Several 'Hollyoaks' stars past and present were quick to congratulate the couple.
Jodi Albert (Debbie Dean) wrote: "I love this!!!!! (sic)"
Jessica Fox (Nancy Hayton) posted: "How absolutely fantastic!!!!! Congratulations xxxxx (sic)"
Nikki Sanderson – who portrays Maxine Minniver – wrote: "Aww amazing!! Congratulations to you both (sic)"
Former Cheryl Brady actress Bronagh Waugh – who announced last week she is expecting her first child – shared: "SO thrilled for you both!!! (sic)"
Carley and Danny – who met on the 'Hollyoaks' set – married in a magical woodland ceremony in the heart of the New Forest in August 2017.
Afterwards, Danny admitted their special day was one he'll never forget and he even told his significant other to slow down when she was walking down the aisle so he could admire her for longer.
He said: "Carley looked truly sensational and so happy. It was such a lovely moment that I'll never forget.
"I actually put my hand out to tell her to slow down as it was all going too quickly and I wanted to cherish it. Carley thought I waved and so she waved back."
She added: "I felt so calm yet so excited. I just couldn't stop smiling and giggling.
"It felt like our plan had come together perfectly and I was about to say 'I do' to my best friend in front of everyone we loved. It was magical."
