Producers for the international versions of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' are reportedly interested in filming at a Polish castle, after the success of the UK version at Gwrych castle in Wales
'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here' bosses plan to film international versions at a Polish castle.
This year's UK show was filmed in Gwrych castle in Wales as the COVID-19 pandemic prevented filming in the Australian jungle like previous years and producers from a number of international productions are keen to replicate its success with a move to the Polish castle, according to the Daily Mirror newspaper.
The TV show is currently produced in 10 nations, including Australia, Denmark, Germany and India, and two of the 10 countries have expressed interest in Poland.
Meanwhile, ITV chief executive Dame Carolyn McCall has said she wants to hold the next series in Australia if possible.
She explained: "If we can go back to Australia – and this show is meant to be in Australia – then that's what we'll do.
"We have a very good plan if not, as we have already done it once [in the castle]."
Host Ant McPartlin, who co-presents with Declan Donnelly, has said he would be happy to return to Wales, but added: “We’d miss the sunshine.”
